During my second-year at Falmouth University, Flora Fricker set a collaborative brief to design a minimum of 5 props for a TV show or film character of our choice. Me and my friend Poppy chose the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. Through this week-long project we used screen printing to print two different fabric patterns for a tablecloth and waistcoat, as well as hand writing each of the potion labels. I loved this project, as it showed a brand new area of graphic design that I hadn’t considered before.
